Cutting aluminum rods is easier than it sounds

A good miter saw for $200? Yes! I bought one at Lowes. The risk was worth; I didn't know it was so easy to cut aluminum rods, even the angles at the ends. The welding shop will not need to do this part of the job. It means: saving time and money!
