Frame design

This is the plan for the frame: Approximately 8 ft long and 6 ft wide. Aluminum square tubes, mostly 1" with 1/8" thickness (some 3/4" for the motors diagonal supports). We chose Aluminum 6061-T6, which is more resistant than the popular 6063. We estimate that this frame will weigh between 80 and 90 lbs (without the mountable motor bases). The aluminum will be bought through the Internet and we'll try to cut all rods at home... Let's see if it works. Next challenge is to find a good welding shop.
